Job Title: Sr. Collections Specialist
Job Location: Remote
Job Shift: 3 pm- 12 am, IST
We are seeking a highly communicative and experienced Sr. Collections Specialist to join our growing team supporting US-based clients. This role requires strong command over spoken and written English, proven success in AR collections, and the ability to handle client communication with professionalism and persistence.
Candidates with prior experience handling collections for US clients in SaaS, logistics, or healthcare tech companies will be prioritized.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Manage the collections process by proactively following up with customers via email and phone to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Communicate professionally with US clients and their customers, handling escalations, disputes, and billing queries with clarity and empathy.
• Maintain and analyze the AR aging report to prioritize and track follow-ups on overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and streamline the collections process.
• Assist in cash flow forecasting by providing accurate and timely updates on expected collections.
• Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant client policies and regulatory requirements.
• Suggest process improvements and leverage tools/automations to enhance efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in Collections specifically for US-based clients.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills – should be confident in engaging with US stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and Accounting/ERP systems (preferably NetSuite).
• Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, automation tools, or workflow tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with SaaS, logistics, or healthcare billing processes is preferred.
• Experience working with US time zones, especially the PST shift.
